“My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.” (Psalm 139:15)
Touch grounds us in reality. Through it, we experience warmth, comfort, pain, protection, and love. God designed our bodies to feel deeply, reminding us that we are created for relationship.
From a child’s embrace to a healing hand, touch reflects God’s nearness. Jesus Himself often used touch — to heal, restore, and reassure. Through physical contact, God communicates care and compassion.
Even our sensitivity to pain points to a God who protects us, alerting us when something is wrong. Touch reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, known intimately by our Creator.
May we allow God’s touch — through His Word, His Spirit, and His people — to bring healing and reassurance to our lives.
Prayer: Loving Father, thank You for creating us with care and intention. Touch our lives with Your healing and peace. Help us to reflect Your love through our actions and to be instruments of comfort and compassion to those around us. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
