Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
Psalms 37.5
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
Trusting God when everything is doing fine is quite simple and easy. The challenging task is to believe and trust Him when nothing is going right or when the circumstances are quite different from what you had expected to be. When you do not have the situation under control. This is the moment you are challenged to trust Him and believe His will is good, pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
Even when you’re tempted to run away from our problems, God says that you need to go through them. It’s hard to obey, isn’t it? But then, you remember He’s promised to stick with us the way through them. Therefore, you’ll never have to go through anything alone. “Fear not, for I am with you.” (Isaiah 41:10), this is what He guarantees.
You’re not going to experience faith if you do not face problems. On the contrary, faith often carries you through problems. Why would you need faith if you never had trouble?
Whatever you’re going through right now, be convinced that God is with you, so never give up! I encourage you to move on and on and He’ll increase your faith and help you get to the other side safe and sound.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please help me trust you when I’m going through things that are hard, frustrating or disappointing. I need to increase my faith so that I am ready for the challenges life puts right before me. Thank you for having me closer to you in moments I think I can’t stand on my own. In Jesus’ name, amen.
