“For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 2:15)

Smell is deeply connected to memory and emotion. A single scent can transport us to moments long forgotten. God designed this sense to anchor experiences in our hearts, helping us remember what matters.

In Scripture, fragrance often represents worship, sacrifice, and God’s pleasure. Just as a pleasing aroma fills a room, a life lived for Christ reflects God’s presence in the world.

Smell reminds us that faith is meant to linger — to leave a trace. Our lives, shaped by love and obedience, become a testimony that others can sense.

May we live in such a way that our lives point others to Christ, carrying the fragrance of His grace wherever we go.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, may our lives be pleasing to You. Let our words, attitudes, and actions reflect Your love and truth. As we walk each day, help us to carry the fragrance of Your grace, so that others may be drawn to You through our lives. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
