The righteous person will live by his faithfulness.

(Habakkuk 2:4)

We do not always need proof to have faith, but we receive proof because we have faith. God left us the Bible as proof. We have many stories of faith listed in the Bible. We have the story of creation. We have the birth of Jesus, his crucifixion, and his resurrection. You have Hebrews 11, Romans 4, and 8. We have the Acts of the Apostle. We have stories of Abraham, Job, Moses, Daniel, and King David, to name a few.

We persevere in our faith by having a prayer life, fasting, reading the word of God, listening to the preached word of God. More than wanting to prosper we should want to have faith because that is what the Lord requires and without faith it is impossible to please Him.  It is impossible to have a strong ministry without building up the faith of the people of God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Do you feel weak? remain in faith. Are you discouraged? Remain in the faith. Are you unmotivated? Remain in the faith. Are you being chased? Remain in the faith. Are you being misunderstood? Remain in the faith. Are things not going as planned? Remain in the faith. Has frustration knocked at your door? Remain in the faith. It is not circumstances that must change your faith, but it is the faith you have been given that has the power to change any and all circumstances.

Do not allow people to talk you out of fantastic plans God has already idealized for you. Their faith is not your faith. Stay around positive, faith-filled people. It will surely help you persevere in your faith. Consequently, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish because you cling to it by faith. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)

Prayer: Oh, Lord! Increase my measure of faith so that I can deep inside truly believe in all huge things that are yet to come. I know I am what the Scripture says I am, I have what your Word says I have, and I can do what the Bible says I can do. Please increase my faith so that I can walk with you on the water. In Jesus’ name, amen.
