“Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.”
(Isaiah 64:4)
God works in your life even if you can’t see it or you don’t realize it. What usually happens is that we’re not patient enough to wait for God’s acting. We get anxious when things do not happen when and how we expect them to. We look forward to seeing different and awesome things happening to us very often. You know, just to confirm God is still there and to assure us His promises are still on.
Most of the times, we spend our whole life running after earthy stuff. However, we forget that God’s best and biggest promise and gift – our salvation – was already fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Our salvation would already be enough, but Isaiah 64:4 says that “Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” Oftentimes God works in silence. If you only knew what He was doing behind the scenes. Believe, He is working in your favor. Soon the doors are going to be opened, the healing is going to happen, the restoration. Be ready for something you have never seen. Just believe it.
Paul wrote to the Philippians for them not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. You are free to come up to God and ask him whatever you need. Just be grateful for all the blessings he has surely done towards you.
You should learn to trust Him. Don’t panic before the problems you face. If either your blessing hasn’t been delivered yet or your miracle hasn’t come true so far, it doesn’t mean God has forgotten you or He has abandoned you. You have to believe deep inside that God knows what the best for you is. And He knows the right time to act. Almighty God never gets late.
The way we see things is limited, but God does not see only our present time. He is able to see your future and beyond. According to your perspective, He may be leading you through a very hard path, but, believe me, it is the best way indeed.
The heavenly Father can change the circumstances around you and have them work in your favor. He can sustain you in the midst of the wilderness you’re going through. So, have faith, stand firm, and let nothing move you.
Prayer: Eternal Father, remove all anxiety from me and all concerns that have brought me any disturbance. Reach each person who is reading this message so that his/ her faith is renewed right now and help him/her take heart to keep on waiting for the fulfillment of your promises in his/her life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
